“Kwik Model with EnergyGauge Loads” aka. KM3D EAGLE, is two programs in a single package that allows you to quickly build a 3D model of a house, then seamlessly perform ACCA Manual J and Manual S calculations. You can then draw hyper realistic ducts in 3D and size them according to Manual D methodologies. Certified for use wherever ACCA Manual J, S and D are required, KM3D EAGLE is a partnership between Coded Energy, Inc. and the Florida Solar Energy Center (FSEC), developers of EnergyGuage Loads and EnergyGauge USA. It can also import a 2D floor plan or a 3D file from Cubi.Casa, a free phone app that creates a floor plan of an existing home by scanning with your phone.
Description
You are purchasing a one year, single-computer license for the Windows operating system. Internet access is required to verify license, but application can operate off line for up to 24 hours. It must installed on a single computer but can be transferred to another computer if needed, but only a limited number of times. To run on multiple computers, you’ll need to purchase multiple licenses. (Sorry. No Mac version yet but it can run in a Windows emulator software.)
Kwik Model is a very graphics heavy program, like a modern video game or any 3D CAD software. It runs best on a “gamer” computer or one with a good quality graphics card and 8 GB of RAM is recommended, minimum 4 GB.
The user assumes all responsibility for the results of using this software. This software is a tool and like any tool, it can be used correctly or incorrectly. By purchasing this software, the user assumes responsibility for being properly trained and knowledgeable in residential HVAC design before designing systems intended to be installed in real homes.
